Victory Fraley, age 82, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at her home in Clay City, Kentucky. She was born on July 2, 1943, in Harveyton, Kentucky, to the late C. W. Miller and the late Canzalia Combs Miller. Victory embodied love in its purest form, mirroring the unconditional affection of Jesus. Her laughter was contagious, filled with a vibrant sense of humor that could lighten any moment. Possessing an extraordinary gift for listening, Victory made those around her feel truly heard and valued. Her devotion to her family was profound, as she cherished each member deeply, always striving to create lasting memories together. In her spare time, Victory delighted in crafting beautiful dolls, weaving intricate baskets, weaving cane-bottom chairs, and mastering the art of creating pottery. Her passion for painting allowed her to express her creativity in vivid colors, while her interest in genealogy connected her to her roots and her family's history. Victory's love extended to her animals, who were cherished companions in her life. Her story began in the close-knit neighborhood where she grew up, right across the street from her future husband. In a charming twist of fate, she eventually married "the boy next door", a love story that blossomed in the very place they both called home. In addition to her parents, Victory is preceded in death by six brothers: Donald Lee Miller, Dewey Miller, Delmon Miller, James Monroe Miller, Lenox Miller, and Shelby Miller; four sisters: Margaret McIntosh, Callie Wright, Geneva Wright, and Mollie Miller. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Fraley, Jr., Clay City; two sons, Larry D. (Connie) Fraley, and John Fraley both of Clay City; one daughter, Amy (Chris) Anderson, of Clay City; one brother: Milford (Sharon) Miller of Clay City; four grandchildren: Jon (Jordan) Fraley, Rebecca Fraley, Grant Fraley, and Britton Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Chris Fraley will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025. Burial will be held at Miller Cemetery in Clay City, with Jon Fraley, Terry Miller, George Fraley, Chad Patton, Brent Hopper, Jim Sizemore, Frank Snowden, and Paul Smith serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Troy Brooks, Holly Pelfrey, Dr. Richard Dinardo, Victoria and J.R. Fugate, and Mountain Parkway Church of God.
