Sharon Irene McIntosh, age 72, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. She was born on Monday, April 27, 1953, in Garden City, Michigan, to the late Lloyd Lynch and the late Hazel Ruby Williams Lynch Tincher. Sharon was a beloved member of the Irvine Free Methodist Church, known for her warmth and kindness. She enjoyed riding her Tennessee Walking Horses with her husband and taking car rides, exploring the scenic back roads together. In the kitchen, Sharon was a talented cook, especially famous for her homemade biscuits, a skill she learned from her Granny Mae, who also taught her valuable life lessons. She worked at the Irvine Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and Hardee's, sharing her love of cooking with those around her. Sharon adored spending time with her grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. Her infectious smile and warm hugs could brighten any room, and her upbeat spirit made her a true joy to be around, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Danny McIntosh, and one brother, Greg Lynch. She is survived by one son, Danny (Glenna) McIntosh of Stanton; one daughter, Michelle (Erin) Tipton of Georgetown; two brothers, Bill (Debbie) Lynch and David Lynch, both of Irvine; four sisters: Shirley Riddell of Somerset, and Judy (Wayne) Riddell, Clara Lynch, and Marie Lynch, all of Irvine; four grandchildren: Danny Glen McIntosh, Nolan McIntosh, Keithen Tipton, and Hannah Tipton; and one great-grandchild, Carmen Estepp. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Memorial services, officiated by Bro. Terry Barnes and Pastor Josh Pack will be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation at 7:00 P.M. Honorary pallbearers are John Nolan, Willie Nolan, Terry Barnes, Blain Click, and The Golden Girls. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
