Peggy Ann Sizemore, age 76, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at her home in Clay City, Kentucky. She was born on Friday, June 24, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late John Henry Pryor and the late Francis Georgia Sisk Pryor. Peggy was a remarkable cook who loved preparing meals that brought her family together. As a devoted homemaker, she cherished her role, often sacrificing her desires for the happiness of her children and delighting in time spent with her grandchildren. Professionally, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) for 35 years in various nursing centers in Mt. Sterling, Stanton, and Winchester, where she showed genuine compassion for those in need. Peggy also shared her vibrant spirit during her 17 years working at Wal-Mart in Mt. Sterling. Her fun-loving and spunky personality made her a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Sizemore; one brother, Wayne Pryor; six sisters: Patricia Julian, Brenda Arriaga, Martha Damron, Joyce Schultz, Rebecca Teklaw, Loretta Napier; two brothers-in-law: John Teklaw, and Paul Napier. She is survived by one son, Jason (Brittany) Sizemore of Clay City; two daughters, Paula (Farrell Fugate) Sizemore of Clay City, and Mary Almanai of Plain Field, Illinois; one brother, Micheal Pryor of Chicago, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Patty Pryor of La Grange, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Phillip (Dami) Rogers, Hannah (Sonny Lewis) Rogers, Samantha Sizemore, Jaydon Sizemore, Barbara Sizemore, Hunter Fugate, Jamal Jalili, and Laila (Mahmoud) Almanai; and nine great-grandchildren: Amari Jones, Amelia Himes, A'miyah Sizemore, Hashim Almanai, Mohammed Almanai, Josiah Lewis, Lily-Anne Lewis, Christina Rogers, Arba Jalili. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Clifford Rawls will be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation at 7:00 P.M. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Sizemore, Phillip Rogers, Jaydon Sizemore, Tiffany Faulkner, Clifford Rawls, Carrie Tiller, Hondo Hearne, Paul Johnson, Jesse Knox, and Marty Eversole. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
