Linda Fay Helton

Linda Fay Helton, age 83, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Monday, November 30, 1942, in La Grange, Kentucky. Linda worked at Natural Bridge State Park, Gladie Visitor Center, and C.M.S. through the years. She enjoyed demonstrating weaving techniques at the Gladie Center. Linda was a dedicated worker who deeply loved her family and was known for her sweet and caring nature. Her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, was a central part of her life, and she embraced it wholeheartedly. Linda cherished raising her family and enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for sewing and vegetable gardening, finding joy in getting her hands into the dirt. A true people person, Linda was loved by all who knew her. She also adored her dog, Patches, who sadly passed away a couple of months ago. Linda attended Hatchers Creek Church of God, where she loved to testify and give praise to God. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Ina Dehart; her husband, Alton Helton; one son, Alan Helton; her daughter, Sandra Sue Helton; and her half-sister, Brenda Snowden. She is survived by two sons: Rick Helton and Timothy (Trish) Helton both of Stanton; one daughter-in-law, Judy Bowling; four grandchildren: Travis (Lynn) Helton, Candance Helton, Timothy (Kayla) Helton, Jr., and Christopher (Christa) Helton; one step-grandchild, Autumn Wise; five great-grandchildren: Kaylee Helton, Easton Helton, Presley Helton, Kennedy Helton, and Olivia Helton; and four step-great-grandchildren: Rylin Rowland, Zayden Wise, Ashtyn Wise, and Maxtyn Wise. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Lovell Stevens will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Burial will be held at Helton Cemetery in Stanton, with Rick Helton, Timothy Helton, Travis Helton, Candance Helton, Timothy Helton, Jr., and Christopher Helton serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Allen, Stephanie Clemons, Terry McClure, Janice Swango, Jim and Jean Myers, Earlene Helton, and Ava Barnett. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
