Lillie Mae Puckett, age 86, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Stanton Nursing & Rehab Center in Stanton, Kentucky. She was born on Saturday, July 1, 1939, in Stanton, Kentucky, to the late Courtney Blythe and the late Bernice Blythe. Lillie enjoyed reading, watching movies, and working in her yard, tending her flowers. She cherished every moment spent with her family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Lillie was a devoted member of the Bowen Church of Christ during its active years, finding community among its members. She was a desk clerk at Abner’s Motel, where she welcomed guests with her warm smile. Throughout her life, Lillie exhibited a strong sense of independence, embodying grace and kindness as a truly lovely woman. In addition to her parents, Lillie is preceded in death by her two sons: Gary Wayne Knox and Donnie Gillis; her two daughters: Brenda Knox and Glenda Knox; her brother and sister-in-law: Willard "Bill" Herdon (Wynona) Blythe; her sister, Nellie Hall; and her great nephew: Scotty Hall. She is survived by one niece: Patricia (Jerry) Hall, of Stanton, and one great niece: Melissa Hall. Visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Kennon Cemetery, Hardwicks Creek Road, Clay City, Kentucky. Graveside services, officiated by Bro. Daniel Newell will be held at the cemetery at 1:00 P.M., with Jerry Hall, Billy Joe Bush, Michael Frazier, Jim Frazier, and Phillip Blythe serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Melissa Collins, Debbie Bush, Donna Jo Wafford, Phyllis Jo Anderson, Minnie Willoughby, Alma Caldwell, Bobby Pelfrey, Rogar Nolan, Missy Pelfrey, and Janice Pelfrey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
