Janice Sue Hall Newcomb, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at her home in Clay City, Kentucky. She was born in Rogers Chapel, Kentucky, on November 7, 1949, to the late Dell Hall and the late Abbie McCoy Hall. Janice spent her working years at Bundy Tubing and the Lycoming Shoe Factory, where she dedicated herself to her tasks with enthusiasm. Outside of work, she found joy in tending to her vibrant flower garden, nurturing a colorful array of blooms that brought life to her home. Her most cherished moments were those spent with her granddaughter, creating joyful memories filled with laughter and love. In her leisure time, Janice delighted in solving puzzles, relishing the challenge they presented and the relaxation they offered. With a generous spirit, she was always eager to lend a helping hand, going above and beyond to support others in her community. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ray Newcomb; three brothers: Tom Hall, Marion Hall, and Don Hall; and one sister: Marie Durham. She is survived by her son, Chris Newcomb of Clay City; her daughter, Mona Hall; two brothers: Raymond Hall and Danny (Patricia) Hall, both of Stanton; one sister-in-law: Janna Todd of Irvine; and one grandchild, Keleigh Nicole Newcomb. There will be no services scheduled. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
