Esther Lou Brewer, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Wednesday, March 9, 1955, in Jackson, Kentucky, to the late Burnett Brewer and the late Magdalene Bowling Brewer. Esther graduated from Breathitt County High School as part of the Class of 1973. She worked diligently as a factory worker at Rogers Foam and as a caring childcare provider at Poo and Pals Daycare Center. Esther enjoyed attending Stanton Baptist Church and found joy in cooking and baking. She took pride in sharing her meals with the elderly and those in need, believing that a warm meal could bring comfort and brighten their day. Esther enjoyed hunting for treasures at yard sales and the Peddlers Mall, and her vibrant personality drew her to children, whom she adored. Known as a social butterfly, she thrived in the company of others and cherished her family deeply. Esther's little Chihuahua and Corgi mix, Rocco, was a beloved companion who brought her much joy. Her vibrant love for life and her playful humor brought joy to everyone around her. Esther's generous spirit and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met, making her truly unforgettable. In addition to her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Turner; her son, Donald Gene Brewer; her brother, Harold Brewer; one sister, Brenda Brewer; and her niece, Brenda Melissa Brewer. She is survived by one son, Jonathan Dwayne (Michelle) Brewer of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Natasha Lynn Brewer of Stanton; one sister, Jackalene (Jeff) Robertson of Stanton; two aunts: Janice Bowling of Covington and Wanda Brewer of Jackson; and a host of cousins.
